This procedure is called chairside bleaching and usually requires only one office visit. The dentist will apply either a protective gel to your gums or a rubber shield to protect your gums. Bleach is then applied to the teeth, and all the years of staining with tea, coffee, and red wine etc. is removed in a matter of an hour; revealing truly white teeth that enhances the perfection of a smile. We use the Philips Zoom teeth whitening system.

Teeth Cleaning and Polishing

The main cause of periodontal disease is accumulation of bacterial plaque. Using manual hand scalers, industry standard Ultrasonic scalers, “prophy blasts” and fluorinated pumice for polishing, we’ll have your teeth and gums looking and feeling nice and fresh in no time!
Fluoride Application for Kids
The topical application of fluoride is a generally recommended treatment for children through the age of eighteen and can also be used to treat adults “at-risk” for dental cavities. Topical fluoride strengthens the teeth once they have erupted by seeping into the outer surface of the tooth enamel, making the teeth more resistant to decay. Dentists and dental hygienists generally recommend that children have a professional application of fluoride twice a year during dental check-ups.
Remember, fluoride alone will not prevent tooth decay! It is important to brush at least twice a day, floss regularly, eat balanced meals, reduce sugary snacks, and visit your dentist on a regular basis.
